Located in Pioneer Park on the western end of Kennedy Drive, Tweed Regional Museum offers a truly unique experience. With recent renovations, visitors can explore fascinating artifacts and photographs capturing local history from this coastal area. The museum is open during the week (Tuesday – Friday) from 9am-5pm but also boasts plenty to enjoy even while closed; picnicking at picturesque views or using one of their free BBQs are just some activities available! Kids will love running around its safe sandy beach as well – not to mention you may get lucky enough for an up-close encounter with pelicans when Tweed Endeavour Cruises’ Crab boat visits! An idyllic day out includes fishing off either the beach or jetty behind our establishment, too– all conveniently set up so kayaks can be launched without any difficulty whatsoever.
